HMC INQ is a 10-week intensive startup program modeled very *very* closely after YC, but based in Santa Monica and only open to (all) HMC graduates.
Startups admitted receive $120K via a YC SAFE usually capped at $2M (depending on the state of your startup), office space during the program (optional), ongoing guidance from our mentors, tons of legal and cloud services credit, invaluable peer support, weekly dinners with fantastical guest speakers... all culminating with our first ever Demo Day on November 6th, 2017.
The brain child of Josh Jones (HMC '98, DreamHost co-founder and Bitcoin Billionaire) and Gary Evans (HMC Ruth and Harvey Berry Professor of Entrepreneurial Leadership), HMC INQ requires all companies that apply have at least one HMC graduate as a co-founder (with at least 20% equity).
But wait, there's more...
The deadline for applications is May 29th, 2017. We expect to accept around five companies into the first class, with decisions made by July 14th.
Also, if you're an HMC alum interested in being an HMC INQ partner, or a business that would like to offer resources to our companies, or have any questions at all, just email Josh Jones for help!
